Canyons are open from may to september according to current legislation...

The canyons are located on the periphery or in the Cévennes National Park between 45 and 67 km .
Equipment
Mandatory sports footwear for good outfit and adhesion to the ground, bathing suit. Water, cereal bars.
Appointment
Appointments canyon take place directly on official or well car parks on Millau for a carpool.
Aquatic Trip
Tayrac - Haute Dourbie
Aquatic hike is one of the first approach to whitewater. A canyon (River of the Tayrac or Mourier, 40 kms from Millau) without rope, technique, with natural slides and jumps. Equipped of a wetsuit and a helmet, let you slide on toboggan, followed small jumps... up to 8 meters for the more adventurous! (jumping optional). Open from June to September - closed Saturday.
Vertical discovery
Bramabiau
A canyon in two stages: first part in walking on water, followed by a rank vertical passages. Equipment including a harness, lanyards and descender. You cross the waterfalls, rappelling, slide or jump... activity begins with an introduction on the banks and the safety instruction recall. Open from June to September - closed Tuesday and Thursday.

Tapoul
Abseil Cevennes waterfalls, in the Gorges of the Tapoul. During the day, we invite you to taste the pleasures of the whitewater... Jumping, swimming, toboggan... 3 hours of slope in a course at an hour drive of Millau.Open from June to September - closed Monday and Friday.
A little history
Cevennes National Park
The Cévennes National Park is a French National Park created on 2 September 1970, covering the natural region of Cévennes and located mainly in the departments of Lozère, Gard and Ardèche.
It is therefore covered in two regions: the Languedoc-Roussillon and Rhône-Alpes. Its seat is located in Florac in his castle. The Cevennes National Park has several features which distinguish it from other French national parks: it is the only French national park situated on average mountain, and it is the only metropolitan national park whose heart is inhabited and operated by permanent residents. Betty Benacin wrote a review (August 2022) We did the canyoning and the via ferrata and the two activities were great! The courses are very beautiful and adapted to different levels. The guides are pedagogues and experienced, which allowed us to have a great time safely!
